PORTS: Dover, Falmouth, Guernsey, London, Plymouth, Southampton
Your private guide will greet you at your arrival port and escort you to your awaiting deluxe transport. England has a lot to offer and depending on which port you arrive into you will experience a certain English heritage. Arrive into the capital city, London, and visit historical places of interest such as the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace and spend free time shopping in Oxford Street or relaxing in one of the many parks. Docking at Dover leads you into the gateway of Kent, the Garden of England. Visit the pretty city of Canterbury, centred around the magnificent Cathedral or dock at Southampton, one of Britain’s most historic ports.
PORTS: Belfast, Cork, Dublin, Waterford
Stopping for a pint of refreshing Guinness is not the only reason to stop at one of the Irish ports. The capital city of Ireland is perhaps one of the prettiest cities you will visit on your travels, complimented with plenty of historical sites and a haven for the shopaholics amongst you. Belfast provides another bustling centre booming with history, including the glorious cathedral, and Irish culture. This is all in contrast to the tranquillity of Southern Ireland, should you choose to take a private tour starting from Waterford port. Waterford is celebrated for its sun-warmed beaches and adorable coastal villages, a perfect place to experience the slower pace of life in Ireland.
PORTS: Glasgow, Invergord, Kirkwall, Shetland Islands, South Queensferry
Scottish heritage is plentiful and we promise you a full tailor-made tour. The Scottish culture is widely diverse; dock at Glasgow and you will find yourself in a large and busy University City, but dock at the Shetland Islands and you will see a less modern way of life. The Shetland Islands remains a collection of small fishing villages on the very north of Scotland. Queensferry offers one of the most interesting collections of ancient buildings, quite unique to anything else you may see. Black Castle is the oldest house and was built on the High street in 1626 and St Mary’s church dates back to 1441. Queensferry is in close proximity to Edinburgh, giving you the chance to visit one of the most distinctive cities in the world.
PORTS: Holyhead
Holyhead is known as a very busy ferry port; however it is not with out its historic and prehistoric sites as we can show you on one of our private excursions. These include burial chambers at Barcloddiad Yr Gawres and a church in the sea at Porth Cwyhan! Over one hundred shipwrecks have taken place in the vicinity of Holyhead, which you can learn all about in the maritime museum. After a spot of lunch you may fancy a walk down to the South Stack Lighthouse but be prepared its 365 steps down so that’s 365 steps back up!
Tell us your chosen ports and number of people travelling and we will offer you the ideal excursion
