1st Airborne Arnhem

Day 1 –  Early morning departure from London with British 1st Airborne veterans. Sail from Dover for Calais with P&O. After landing in France we drive through Belgium to the Netherlands. Follow the "Corridor" from Joe's Bridge to the Nijmegen Bridge. Overnight accommodation with dinner.
Day 2 –  Full day in the Arnhem area. We visit Ginkel Heath dropping and landing zones, Wolfheze, Heelsum and Oosterbeek areas, the Hartenstein Airborne Museum, Schoonoord Cross-Roads, Oosterbeek Airborne Cemetery and follow the route taken by John Frost into the famous 'Bridge Too Far', past the Tafelberg Hotel, the home of Kate Ter Horst (the 'Angel of Arnhem'). We attend the John Frost Bridge ceremony and concert. Overnight accommodation and dinner
Day 3 –  Full day attending events in Arnhem including the Airborne Drop at Ginkel Heath. Overnight accommodation and dinner.
Day 4 – Attend the special service of Remembrance at Oosterbeek Airborne Cemetery, to pay our respects along with the schoolchildren of the area. Departure early afternoon for our return drive through the Netherlands and Belgium to France. Sail from Calais to Dover with P&O. Proceed to London and the Union Jack Club
