Tour Programme

Day 1: Leave Brussels and drive to Preischeid. Onto Dasburg bridge over Our River. Follow 2nd Panzer Division attack route through Marnach, Clervaux, Antoniushof and Feitsch. Drive through Bizory and pause at the edge of the Bois Jaques.  Visit Foy and the German cemetery at Recogne then drive onto Noville defended by Team Desobry. (Lunch on your own in Bastogne)  Visit Hemroulle then onto Rolley.  Follow the route taken by Patton's 4th Armored division though Hompre, Clochimont and Assenois to the Boggess pillbox. Visit the Bastogne Historical Center and the nearby Mardasson monument. Overnight at Malmedy hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Losheimergraben then turn north to the positions of the 3rd Battallion, 393rd Infantry.  Visit Rollbahn "A" then drive to the Losheimergraben crossroads defnded by 1st Battalion 394th Infantry.  (Lunch on your own in Bullingen). This afternoon we visit Hunnigen and Murringen then follow the route taken by the 1st Battalion , 23rd Infantry on its way to Elsenborn ridge. We drive to the Twin villages pausing a positions defended by the 2nd Infantry Division. We then drive via Wirtzfeld over the Elsenborn ridge to Elsenborn village.  Overnight in Malmedy hotel.

Day 3:  Drive into the Losheim Gap where we see remnants of the Siegfried line.  Today we follow the route of the Kampfgruppe Peiper from the Scheid railroad bridge through Losheim, Merlscheid and onto Lanzerath where we make a short pause. We then drive through Honsfeld making a short pause then onto Bullingen from where we drive through Moderscheid, Schoppen, Ondenval and Thirimont to the Baugnez crossroads site of the Malmedy Massacre. We visit the Baugnez 44 Historical Center pausing for lunch.  We then follow Peiper's route through Ligneuville, Pont, Stavelot and Trois ponts to La Gleize. We see the Chateau de Froid Cour  and Stoumont and finish the day at the Neufmoulin bridge.  Onto Werbomont after which we return to Brussells.
